We are pleased to be offering today this barley twist tiger sawn oak Victorian age fancy hall bench dating from the 1890s. The bench is in the original old finish showing minor stain marks here and there. It is all tiger sawn oak. It is a candidate for refinishing to bring out the gorgeous grains. Please contact us for a quote if you are interested in the refinishing service. It comes with a pull-out fancy scallop drawer, which is unusual for a bench like this. It has wraparound arms with rope twist spindles and an oval medallion in the center. It is 42 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 30 inches high to the arms and 36 inches high to the oval medallion back. The drawer is 37 inches wide and 3 inches high. It will hold many pairs of mittens. It is a nice bench that would look stunning all refinished. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
