This pattern is from 1948 for a handbag with a front pocket.
It's a simple design with the front and back the same but with a flap
and pocket added to the front (as image shows).

The front and back are held together by a one piece gusset that goes
all the way round to form the bottom and sides of the bag.
You add handles and a zip at the top to close.

The pattern and Instructions are in French and you can easily use one
of the on-line translation sites to help with the instructions.
I have also included a list of French sewing terms to get you started.

Please note that there are very limited instructions in French. You will
need to be experienced to use this pattern as there are no step by step
instructions.

Approx size is: Width across top of bag is 33cm, at widest point 38cm
and is 28cm high
