Antique 6x7” Wooden Pharmacy Jar Hand Enamel Gold Leaf Secale Cornutum 1800s

Antique hand turned wooden pharmacy jar. Hand painted label and decor featuring gold leaf. Label reads “Secale Cornutum Pulvis” meaning this contained a powdered ergot fungus preparation which would have been used to relieve menstrual pain. Some visible cracks and holes present from aging.
