The neck adopts an ultra-thin type Wizard shape, and is the initial specification of Maple 1pc. Scarf joint head.
The pickup has an HSH arrangement of V1 at the front, S1 at the center, and V2 at the rear, producing a powerful humbucker sound, and an automatic duo system with a single coil tap on the humbucker side in the halftone position (commonly known as Vai wiring) for clean tone cutting. This sound is effective for arpeggios and arpeggios.
The bridge uses FRT type EDGE, and its smooth movement and tuning stability are still used in models by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, and it has received tremendous trust.
