What is a Dovetail Mount?

A Dovetail Mount is used to attach accessories to your Seestar. Those include a Red Dot Finder Scope, additional cameras, or anything with a Dovetail Style Mount.

To use, simply place the Dovetail Mount Ring onto the back of the included Mask Deluxe Filter Adapter (or any Mask Deluxe/Mask Pro Accessory) then press onto your Seestar. Now install your accessory onto the Dovetail Mount and your set!

Bonus! You also recieve our Mask Deluxe Filter Adapter, which allows you to attach 2" Filters on your Seestar. Simply screw the filter onto the Adapter and your set! Warning...Do not overtighten your filter.

Our Dovetail Mount and Filter Adapter is Custom 3D designed and printed using ABS. ABS is known to be very strong and resilient to temperature changes. ABS is also used in other applications including Toy Building Bricks, Sports Equipment and Automotive components

This does not include the telescope. This only includes the Dovetail Mount and the Filter Adapter.

When you are finished with your viewing session, remember to always remove the Dovetail Mount and Filter Adapter prior to powering down your telescope. Never power down with it attached!
