This knife utilizes a 2 7/8" Locking Wharncliffe blade with a plain edge, hollow grind, 3mm(0.12") thickness, finger lever/finger guard, finger choil, thumb studs, and spine jimping. The blade material is Damascus Steel. Damascus Steel is made by forging & folding together hundreds of layers of hard & soft steel, and then etching them with acid. The acid dissolves the layers at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers give more flexibility & toughness to the steel, and the hard & soft in the edge act much like micro-serrations that aid cutting. The handle is contoured Green Canvas Micarta with a tip-up right carry pocket clip and a lanyard hole. This magnificent piece is 4 1/8 inches long(closed for folding knives) and weighs approximately 2.7 ounces. This knife is presented with a storage pouch, user guide, polishing cloth, and stickers.
