He works are in private collations in Poland, England, France United States and Canada. She study at WSP (Higher Pedagogical School) in Krakow. In 1994 she painted "Hanging Bridge". This work of art included 25 paintings made with pastel technique. It was her first display, as well, which was shown in the gallery of IWP in Krakow, a month after graduating. In 1996 she had her first display in Mielec. About 50 paintings were shown in the gallery of The Centre of Culture. In 1997 D. Laz got the distinction on display organized in KBWA in Krakow. In the same year she was chosen to go to Mukaczewo (Ukraine) on location. In 1998 she founded with her friends a new "Association of Artists" in Mielec, which has a lot of members. The Association cooperates with artists from Poland and foreign countries. In 2000 another display was in Morlaix in France. During eight-year career of art. D. Laz shows her own work of art on five displays: two times in Mielec, in Krakow, in Rzeszow and Polaniec. She participated in 30 collected displays in Poland and foreign countries. When it comes to topics she paints everything. Portrait, act, landscape and still life - "An apple on the tablecloth" are equivalent objects for her, which are useful to solve problems in painting. What she wants is more common things to be wonderful. Flowers are never treated as decoration of interior but they are always in the foreground. She wants their flowers and trees to be as portraits rather than like photographs. "Painting is the rest for me. It is my work, my need and I am sure I could not live without my painting": she said.

Consider Dorothy Laz paintings a wise investment for your home, workplace or gift that will bring joy and grace for many years to come.
