Here we have a lovely Stevenson & Harris Aberdeen which is complete with it's Certificate of Examination and fitted case. It is of typical form with black coloured 3 ring body and rosewood handle, brass and silvered vernier, complete in a fitted mahogany case. The vernier is signed 'Stevenson & Harris Aberdeen' and  '8778' which is the same number as on the certificate. This is being sold requiring a small repair to the arm which has snapped as can be seen in the photographs. 

The approximate maximum dimensions of the case are : 26 cm wide x  25 cm deep x  13 cm high 

CONDITION: The sextant is in nice condition just age elated marks to the case and sextant also there is a piece of brass snapped but present which requires reattaching (please see photographs and final photographs where it is circled in red). Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition, as what you view is exactly what you will receive.
