This very lightly used pre owned Myler bit features a correctional medium port mouthpiece that allows room for the tongue and rotates on the tongue to apply two points of pressure.  This bit is good for horses who are in advanced training but are still showing anxious or aggressive behavior. 

The MB 27PB MP is a Myler correctional mouthpiece, which is a ported mouthpiece that collapses on to the outer lip and bars, and rotates on to the tongue.  The medium port, although narrow and somewhat low, allows room for the horse’s tongue to pass under the bit.  When the reins are engaged and the mouthpiece rotates on to the tongue, it applies two concentrated points of pressure on the tongue for quick control.  The port will apply little to no palate pressure.  Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation. 
The Embossed Seven Shank is an indirect (curb) rein action designed to be used with a curb strap which attaches to the purchase.  This shank uses the combination of fixed cheek and fixed rein to apply pressure to the mouth, chin and poll.  The cheek is embossed with a decorative floral pattern and concho.  The mouthpiece attaches to the cheek with a square end that minimizes rein motion.  The purchase is angled slightly away from the cheek to avoid rubbing.  The beautifully embossed shanks measure 8 inches long with a 2-3/4 inch long purchase for a 2.9 to one leverage ratio.   An outstanding bit for all serious horsemen!  Whether you show reiners, pleasure horses, all-arounders, cutters, cow horses or any western performance horse you need a quality correction bit in your collection!
