Offering a vintage 1950's Electro Voice 950 "Cardax" Dynamic Microphone with cable and desk stand. (What the heck does "Cardax mean? Cardax was trademarked by Electro Voice referring to the CARDioid dirAXtional pick up pattern). The small but mighty model 950 has been a reliable P.A. mic for decades and is still sought after by collectors and musicians who dig the old school vibe. These mics originally employed a crystal pickup, but in most cases age and humidity took it's toll and most either weakened or died. This one failed as well, so we have installed a superior quality dynamic element. Physically, the mic is in average condition with some weathering mostly on the back side. The internal wind screen material is intact and clean, the on-off switch functions well, the pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly and the mic threads are undamaged. Most importantly, the mic works with strong full-fidelity audio, ready to go back into action. (Check out the voice sample on the listing video.) Includes a short 1 foot connecting cable with male XLR plug. (We can swap that XLR connector for a 1/4" male phono plug if you prefer.) Also includes the desk stand. Overall height 12".  Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping. We offer combined shipping. **
