Antique 1930s-40s era Art Deco Ceiling Chandelier.

Very beautiful antique textured Almond/beige white & clear glass art deco ceiling chandelier. The large thick antique glass shade is in very nice antique condition overall, there is some light scrapes/ fine scratches and also a couple of natural air bubbles in the glass shade and glass pedal accent that casts a shimmer spot in the glass when lit, but overall good condition for the age. There is some typical swirling and aging patina and discoloration scattered on the metal components. All imperfections are very typical for an antique this age.

      The light works perfect and is original with the exception of a new updated era correct ceiling cap and chain and some replaced hardware that needed replaced while the light was being refurbished. The wires and sockets were all replaced new and the light is ready to hang immediately with mounting hardware included. The almond color enamel and texturing along with the clear glass Deco accents is absolutely gorgeous!  The light has been extensively cleaned , refurbished, and polished back too a beautiful shine.  The wire cluster housing has been re-sprayed with a silver finish and looks very nice but you can see some old patina imperfections under the paint ( see photos), the sockets basically cover the housing and the canister isn’t seen while hanging, but mentioning for listing condition accuracy.

This Fixture is an absolute fabulous design sure to turn heads and spark conversations every time.  The chandelier is circa 70-80 years old so there are imperfections scattered throughout as you would expect but overall a wonderful surviving piece of functional art from the great Art Deco era that has been brought back to life to enjoy for decades more to come.

   MEASUREMENTS- The light is larger sized, measuring approximately 29" inches in total length x 16 1/4” inches diameter at the shade.

Chain- 14” in length.

Chandelier portion minus chain and ceiling cap is 12” tall.

NOTE- The gorgeous glass stem is free floating and simply sits atop seated on the metal housing while hanging.
