Stunning rare Carl Schneider bisque vase (could also be used as a planter). It is marked on the bottom with the Carl Schneider Grafenthal mark along with "Germany" and what looks to be the number 10839. This mark was used from 1875-1879. There is also an additional mark in the right bottom corner area (see pics).
This gorgeous piece features a smiling girl sitting by the Kachelofen (German for a stove fireplace lined with tiles/ tile stove) and playing with her cat. LOTS of detail and very scenic to look at.
Fully hand painted and detailed!
Measurements:
  • Height - ca. 7"
  • Width - ca. 7"
  • Depth - ca. 2.5"
There is a small chip on the side top corner (see last pic), it does NOT retract from the look at all.
