Army railway signal lamp in good original condition. Came from a recent estate sale, we have uncovered the markings on the back, JA 2348, the crows foot, GP Ltd and the date of 1951.
The glass is intact, the original burner with porceline wick holder is all good. The wick control works and the reflector is present. The filters, red and green are 100% intact and the mechanism mooves around smoothly. Has been given a coat of black paint some time ago, the original olive green is showing through.
