Ram hydraulic bearings ease installations in vehicles with chassis constraints, and offer a smooth, lighter pedal effort.
Kits contain the bearing, bleeder hose assembly, shims and mounting hardware. A 3/4 inch bore master cylinder and AN 3 feed line are required for this installation. For 10-1/2" street stock type clutches.
This bearing comes with a new special machined front bearing retainer for the release bearing to ride on.
NOTE: When using with world class T-5 case, a front bearing retainer sleeve # 908 will be required. All other world class T-5 retainers/sleeves of a different number will require the use of Ram Clutch kit part # 78136.

This kit includes a replacement front bearing support for the T-5 transmission. The support has a machined "recess" or "register" that the race for this transmissions' tapered front bearing must be installed into. The bearing race is about 2.5" OD and about 5/8" deep. This support also has the necessary "smooth" area for the t/o bearing to slide back-and-forth on.
The front bearing support is in addition to the hydraulic throwout bearing, bleeder hose, and other components within each kit.
CAUTION: Please follow all installation instructions regarding installation and setup. Incorrect setup height will cause undue stress on the o-rings from being over travelled and may lead to a leak in the system. ONLY use Teflon tape to install the fittings or fluid leakage will occur. Please see videos for complete setup information.
Summary: Custom application. Ford WC t5 behind a Mercruiser 3.7L. Ended up having to turn the OD of the bearing retainer down to fit into the right adapter bellhousing, other than that everything installed smoothly and the clutch feels great.

Summary: Product was an easy installation. On my T5 transmission mounted on a 302 w/ a Luk flywheel and clutch I had to add extra shims to get the throw out bearing within .200" of the clutch fingers. Adding the extra shims moved the throw out bearing far enough out that I had to lenghten the guide rod .750". Don't forget to pull the bearing race off the old shaft and install it on the new provided shaft.
