The Friendly Village by Johnson Brothers is a traditional dinnerware pattern best known for its charming country village scenes. Friendly Village was introduced in 1952. Originally produced in Staffordshire England, Friendly Village and other Johnson Brothers designed tableware production shifted to China in the early 2000s. Johnson Brothers production in the UK ceased in 2003. All of the collection being offered for sale have a “Made in England” backstamp.
This auction is for a Snack Plate & Cup set. The plate pattern is "The Covered Bridge" with the cup being "The Ice House". The plates have an indentation for the cup. The plates are 8 inches square. Pricing is for one snack plate and one cup. There are 7 sets (plate & cup) available.
