As featured in “The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies”, a photo of the text and illustration from the original 1909 book is included in the listing pictures.

This is a rare piece and I’ve been unable to find a similar example anywhere on the internet. There are many examples of the Beswick porcelain version, but not of this Enesco resin version, which has far more detail.

I actually have two of them, one is a pre-production first sample and the other a final version. I suspect very few were made, and perhaps it was only commercially available in quite low numbers as it is one of the more peripheral characters in the Beatrix Potter universe.

A photo of the base of both items is shown for information. Other than the legends/labels on the base, they are completely identical other than tiny variations in the hand-painting. This listing is for the production figure only, not the sample one.
