Vintage Tassie pattern with original paint and most likely the original handle. This stamp is generally agreed to be indicative of German made axes so most likely made by Wiebelhaus or Helsper/ Helko. Slight split in foot of handle but could be clamped and glued. Weighs approximately 2.7kg on handle and measures approximately 183x140mm

Note this axe is out of my personal collection and is hung as a collectable only. The head may need sharpening if you want to use it and it may be hung on a vintage recycled handle that may not be suitable for use. In particular wedges may shrink with time so probably best to drill out and replace if you do want to use it.

Domestic postage is express (and insured) as its only a few dollars more and means you get your axe quicker.

Overseas postage is also express where Auspost offers such a service (eg an express service is not provided to Denmark for some reason). The cost also significant increases by Auspost and includes all the additional sales fees/ taxes that are charged to sellers in an overseas sale as compared to a domestic sale.
