The Garcia Fishing Annuals or Magazines were published in the spring every year from 1958 to 1978. The 1966 Fishing Annual promoted three new models with three roller bearings, the 400A, 401A and the 430A (see pictures).

These models were still in development when the annual was being created in the fall of 1965, and were launched during 1966 with different model numbers and just two roller bearings.

The 400A and 401A were launched as the 410 and 411, the 430A was launched as the 440.
