Shows light wear from use and handling, including minor surface marks and scratches.  It has been gently hand polished and cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean.  It is straight and round, not bent out of shape, stone base has nice finish with no visible damage, has no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all.


It is hallmarked on the inside OB 10K, mark for historic and listed USA fine jeweler, Ostby & Barton Inc., of Providence, Rhode Island.  It was measured with a professional ring mandrel at a US size 10.


HISTORICAL FOOTNOTE:  The last photo shown was taken from a 1943 edition of a Jewelry and Trademark catalog and documents this mark and maker.
