This kit is designed to fix the 80 series Landcruiser mirror shake caused by the broken tabs on the mirror insert housing, so you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on new mirrors. Due to old age and fatigue, the slots on the back of the mirror insert break, giving the mirror housing nothing to hook on to. This results in visible shaking when driving as there is only a single screw holding the mirror in the housing from below.

This kit includes 2 x shaky mirror fix brackets and 2 x bottom screw braces. The bottom screw braces surround the bottom screw hole on the mirror insert. As the screw is only threaded into plastic, it is often broken or the thread is damaged. This brace holds the plastic together if cracked, allowing you to thread the screw into place. If the thread is unusable, the brace allows you to fill the hole with a plastic filler or glue to create a new hole.
