Remarks: Not in Warnecke, Leiningen-Westerburg, Rosenthal, Bertling, Völcker 231, Völcker 285, Perl, Ziegert and Gilhofer - bibliographically not verifiable for me. In 1568, Frederick of Sickingen-Hohenburg (1544-1581) married Anna Schnewlin of Landeck (1544-1604). The wealthy couple built a castle in Ebnet and lived in the Freiburger Salzstraße (today's district court) during the winter months. The last-born son in Freiburg (the older brothers were called Franz Konrad and Johann Jakob) was canon of Mainz and Worms from 1605, and canon of St. Mariengaden from 1616. He died in Klingnau in 1634.
