Author Biography
Deann Benedict grew up in the beautiful city of Fayetteville, Georgia, and is a graduate from Kennesaw State University. Deann's life is centered around the love she has for her family, friends, and her beloved goddaughter, Charlee, whose valuable input was instrumental in bringing this book to life. Her deep affection for animals began at an early age, and her adored rescue schnauzer, Weezy, was the guiding force behind the creation of her debut children's book, Escape from the Mutt Motel. Deann hopes that her infectious enthusiasm and genuine love for animals will inspire children to become advocates for their furry friends, and instill in them a sense of responsibility and kindness towards all creatures great and small.
