Travel back in time with this Harmony mandolin. Made in Chicago by the late, great Harmony Company. From the looks of the somewhat uncommon rare logo, I believe it is from the late 1930s or early 1940s. At least, that's how the great guitar historian S. Nathaniel Adams has estimated the era of this headstock logo decal.

Square plate Waverly tuners with cream buttons, which Adams also associates with the 1930s. Rosewood fretboard. Mother of pearl inlaid fret marker dots. Solid spruce top. Rosewood bridge. Raised pickguard. Painted binding on top and back.

Notably, it has an uncommon two soft point body.

Cosmetically, it has some ordinary age and play wear, but looks good. Structurally, it's in good shape too. 12th fret action is pretty good at 3/32" on both sides.

It's a cool old All-American mandolin, ready for its next owner.

     No case.
