We are pleased to be offering today this fantastic and monumental 60” round mahogany banquet table with an unbelievable heavily carved base. There are carvings all over and the trunk of the base is over 20 inches wide!! The claw feet are over 7 inches wide, and the typical claw foot size is around 3 inches. The table has a split pedestal base and comes with one 16.5-inch table leaf. There is room for 4 additional table leaves. If you would like additional leaves to open the table to over 10 feet long, please contact us for a quote. The table as pictured is 60 inches round and 29 inches tall. It has been refinished in a gorgeous brown mahogany stain finish. The highlights in the base are stunning. The table dates from the 1890-1892 range and is an excellent example of Americana. It has a wide ogee bevel edge on the round top. It has a molded edge on the bottom of the skirt. The base has humongous lion head mouths that open and carvings all over that are finished off in a detail claw foot. Add our shop to your favorites so you don’t miss any of the exciting items coming.
