This exquisite Burmese temple repousse decoration is a stunning example of 10th century Asian craftsmanship.

Made from 100% sterling silver, this piece has been beautifully preserved and is in its original condition.

The intricate details of the repousse design are truly breathtaking and showcase the skill of the Burmese artisans from this era.

The temple decoration is presented in an ornately carved wooden frame that complements the intricate design perfectly. This piece is a true collector's item and would make a perfect addition to any Asian antique collection.

Early civilisation in Burma included the Tiberto-Burman and the Mon Kingdom. In the 9th century, the Bamar people entered the upper Irrawaddy valley and following the establishment of the Pagan Kingdom.

This lovely piece of art was from that era.

The artwork was presented to my late husband as an utmost respect memento of what he helped the Thai people achieved in the 1980s.

There will not be another piece like this ever in the world.

Condition is as per the photograph.

Measurement of the frame: 37.5 cm (L) x 33 cm (W)

Weight: 1.6 kilogramme

As in most antique, it is inevitably that some imperfections are hard to detect. The photographs form part of the description.

The battery is there for size comparison only. It has nothing to do with the item.

'Most of my collection is one of a kind. I bought the items because I liked it for myself. They were never intended to be resold. Each item has a story and when possible, I hand carried them in my luggage from all over the world to bring back to Australia. Some of the items have travelled a long way away and some of the items has been with me for more than 50 years.

I am now retired and need to downsize. I will not be able to buy a similar item again and not able to sell it at the same price. If you buy an item from me, it most likely is the only one, I have. Not only you are buying an item you are also buying 50 years of experience.

Thank you for bidding.

I would like to thank my customers for their positive and encouraging feedbacks I received over the years. They are my credentials that money cannot buy. Your friendship and your support are very much appreciated and valued. Thank you”.
