Title: The Ipswich 1984 Radio Broadcast Condition: New Format: CD Description: Few bands who dominated rock music in the 1970s managed to keep that success going into the 1980s, but with drummer Eric Carr having replaced Peter Criss at the start of the decade, and new guitarist Bruce Kulick joining in time for the Animalize World Tour of 1984-85, the retooled KISS did just that. Recorded for radio broadcast towards the start of the tour's opening European leg, this show at the Gaumont Theatre (now the Regent), in Ipswich, England, captures the new-look band in action, giving the audience both barrels with the set staples 'Detroit Rock City' and 'Love Gun', and deploying such 1980s classics as 'Hell's Breakin' Loose' and 'Creatures of the Night'.
The Crazy Nights album era was just around the corner, but in 1984 KISS were still more than capable of sending crowds wild.
