elastic is 95cm at the waist which is 37 inches when not stretched

full stretch is about 127cm (which is 50 inches)

so plenty of room

around the tummy there is about 125 cm of fabric (just under the 50 inches)

the elastic on the leg of the bloomers falls bellow the knee

item has been completely overlocked to prevent fraying
