SITZENDE PIERRETTE MIT LAUTE
Darstellung einer jungen Musikerin, als Pierrette verkleidet, mit ihrer
Laute auf einem Sockel sitzend, in weitem rotem Kostüm mit knielangen Pluderhosen und
besonders großer beigefarbenen Halskrause, die Kleidungsstücke dekoriert mit
farbigen Bordüren, das linke Bein über das rechte geschlagen, mit der rechten
Hand die auf der Hüfte abgelegte Laute festhaltend.
Die auf einem Quader sitzende Figur basiert auf einer weiteren quadratischen
Flachsockel mit abgerundeten Ecken und Kanten, Künstlersignatur 'Thomasch' auf
der Rückseite des Sockels.
SEATED PIERRETTE WITH LUTE

sitting on a pedestal with her lute, wearing a wide red costume with knee-length harem
pants and particularly large beige ruff, the garments decorated with colored borders,
the left leg slung over the right, holding with the right hand the lute placed on the
hip.
The figure sitting on a cuboid is based on another square flat base with rounded
corners and edges, artist's signature 'Thomasch' on the back of the base.
