Pyrex (trademarked as PYREX in caps) is a brand introduced by Corning Inc. in 1915 for a line of clear, low-thermal-expansion borosilicate glass used for laboratory glassware and kitchenware. Borosilicate Glass is Much More Resistant to Thermal Shock.
