Overview

This listing is for a pre-owned, 42mm, Series 3, Apple Watch Edition in Ceramic Gray.

This version is GPS + LTE Cellular capable.

Hardware/Software Requirements
LTE and UMTS (GPS + Cellular)
It's currently running the latest version of watchOS 8, and will pair with iPhones running the current iOS (17.4.1 as of this writing).

The very minimum hardware you need to pair it is an iPhone 5s for GPS or an iPhone 6 if you plan to use the cellular capabilities.

Condition

The watch is complete in box with the original soft-lined plastic display case, all original documentation, the original sport band, original charging stand, charging cable, and 5w power adapter.

The watch crystal has some imperfections to the glass that you can see in the photos.  Hard to describe them; not as simple as scratches but almost like something under the surface.

The box is in acceptable condition with some scratches, scuffing, and light dirt from years of storage.

The hardshell, plastic display box is in good condition with some scratch to the housing.

The documentation is in very good condition, comes in its original slip cover, and includes a beautiful Apple Watch Edition photo booklet.

The sport band is the original gray one that shipped with this watch.  It has the M/L (medium to large) loop on right now, but there's a S/M (small to medium) loop option you can swap it out with.  It's stored on a card in the documentation slip cover.  All sport band pieces are in acceptable condition with notable wear from everyday use.

The original charging stand, cable, and power adapter are all unused.  The stand itself can charge the watch in a flat orientation or standing up.  It's covered in soft, light material, so it's also kind of a dust magnet haha.  I had to dust it off right after taking it out to photograph it.  But it is minimal and beautiful looking.

Battery

It charges from 0% to full power in a couple hours at most, and I can still get a full 16hr day's use.  I tested it recently and estimate my power consumption at about 3%/hr.  That said, I do not use the cellular service or many apps.  And the only active app I run on it is the workout app once or twice a week.  So my use is on the very very lite side.  Your mileage may vary.  Just a heads up; between the time it ships and arrives, the stand-by time will have likely gone down enough that you'll need to charge it from 0% out of the box.

Warranty/Service Options

This watch originally shipped with the extended warranty, but that coverage has expired.  It is still eligible for repair and replacement as of this writing.  But with the current business model at Applecare, this particular variant is likely to be beyond economical repair.  For that reason alone, I'd recommend this as a collector's item, rather than a daily driver.

All-in-all, I'd recommend this as a functional and beautiful collector's item for Apple enthusiasts.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers!
