An elegant, delicate 3 legged chair from 1950's Denmark.  This is the only description I can give of the chair's origins and is based on a fair bit of research. It shows a relationship to Hans J. Wegner, and Arne Jacobsen in its shape and use of laminated teak. It is rare with very few references to it across the web.

The frame is black painted heavy tubular steel. This shows sign of age (roughly 70 years!) and paint is missing in parts.

The seat is laminated teak and is in very good condition with only one fade spot less than 1cm in diameter.

The beige/yellow cord is possibly vinyl. It has clearly yellowed with age, but is taut.

The glides are in very good usable condition as are the caps at the ends of the back rest.

I did not get the opportunity to restore this piece and have decided to let it go instead. The restoration should be relatively straight forward, the most challenging part is the cord.

While it is stable and solid to sit on, it is delicate and valuable, therefore, I have chosen local pick up only.
