Vintage Tootal black quality tie: This is from the 50s Tootal range when the colour denoted the quality of the tie (see picture 2 showing an original 1953 advert for the range).

The Black quality featured a lined finish.

Features a grey finish with thin, dark red stripes. It is lined to the main end in maroon.

Tootal Label to back states 'Tootal tie, black quality, all rayon, made in England, wash as silk or wool' (see pic 3).

It measures approx 50" in length, 3" at the widest end.

The tie is in excellent clean condition throughout. Label is great, ends ere great, edges, no edge damage.  It has been laundered and ironed prior to listing, so it is fresh, clean, and ready to wear upon receipt.
