Grown as a vegetable in Africa and Asia, where they are considered delicacies. Prefers a well drained soil, doesn’t like waterlogged soils. But they do need regular watering. Chinese Potato is also have medicinal properties and have long been used in traditional medicine. A very attractive plant also.
