This is my pride and joy – I’m only selling it as I’ve the opportunity to buy my next dream car. This was my poster on the wall car and I've now tucked the box and feel I want a change it didn't disappoint it is my absolute pride and joy and has given me nothing but smiles per miles.

I have assigned my cherished reg to the car and have added the three piece wicker bill spoiler recently and this is how the vehicle presents currently. The REG will revert to it's original upon agreement of sale.

Just had a fresh MOT so now has 1 year advisory free MOT - the mechanics have given it a full once over and have thoroughly inspected the underside and have commented on how clean it is. Absolutely no rust or surface rust anywhere it's really clean. See pics.

485 BHP / 485 lb ft torque (in stock form) 0-60 4.8 seconds – ¼ mile ~ 12 seconds. Only 1300 made worldwide - around 5/600 in the more desirable auto which is the faster straight-line car with super quick gear changes.  

A true modern classic that is appreciating in value – this would suite a like-minded enthusiast or a collector. To my knowledge this is one of two Yellow Jacket models in the United Kingdom, and it is in beautiful condition and has been maintained meticulously. It came into the UK in Jan 2021 from a private collection and hasn’t seen a wet British day yet. This is an occasional weekend car and is dry stored under a cover most of the time.

Exhaust is a valved system with pipes diverted from the downpipe. This means you can have it loud and obnoxious or stock at the touch of a button. Comes with 2 fobs – done professionally which cost over £1k at Hard Knox Fabrications. Perfect for motorway cruising. However, with the valves open and on full chat the sound is euphoric, you must hear it to appreciate how amazing the Hemi V8 sounds. Screams and shouts pure American Muscle which is truly intoxicating.  

The engine is perfect and runs silently, fires up hot or cold instantly. It delivers brutal acceleration throughout the entire rev range; this is a VERY fast car. 

The temperatures remain perfectly safe whether pottering around town, idle in traffic or when driven enthusiastically – the low temperature thermostat really works well and keeps it cool even when you’re on it.  The car has been and will continue to be super reliable. The Hemi 392 engine is genius! and robust with great potential for additional power with simple bolt on mods.. 

All fluids religiously checked on a weekly basis, always serviced with Royal Purple Race oil to manufacturers spec with Ceratec additive to keep lifters safe and lubed. Last serviced at 57800 miles and the oil on the dipstick is still clean and hasn’t moved whatsoever.  I’ve kept the receipts for the oil and consumables.

EBC Brake discs and pads all four corners. Both o2 sensors replaced 

Brake fluid change / engine service ( Royal Purple oil with K&N filter) + Diff oil service 

All upgrades mentioned above fitted in the last 2k miles. 

2023 (my ownership): 

Interim oil service ( Royal Purple – Wix oil filter / coolant flush and change- Complete check ) 

Cosmetic condition: 

Stunning condition for the age of the car, there are one or two stone chips on the lower portion of the bumper which are literally the size of pin pricks – you’d have to get your nose to touching distance to spot them. There isn’t a single dent / ding / scratch or scuff on the car, nor is there any corrosion to the lower portions of the sills which is common and expensive. The underside is not undersealed and all the metal is clean and rust free, this was important to me because I know there isn't layers of underseal hiding underlying rust issues. It's solid!  

It has been therapeutically smothered in premium wax and sealants throughout its ownership with me and by the previous owner. It has never been to a hand car wash. The paintwork is very well protected, water does not stay on the car. The colour is gorgeous and really pops in the sun, really does stand out a mile. 

By no means of exaggeration, the attention this car gets is beyond comprehendible. It will turn more heads when sat next to an exotic supercar. Kids will point and stare at it, endless conversations at the fuel station, the ladies love it just as much as the men, the elder folk want to ask what it is, “is it Bumblee from Transformers?” “Is that from the Fast & Furious?” People will have their phones out filming it, I could go on and on about the attention this car gets - it’s crazy! 

Since owning the car, I’ve used it as an occasional treat – not even a weekend car. It has been to many car shows including a Channel 4 show to be broadcast next summer (not allowed to say which one), the odd music video, and has been used as a prop for the “fuelling futures” campaign as part of raising awareness of positive car culture in West Yorkshire by the University of Bradford. I’ve also used it to Chauffeur students to their proms and have done the occasional wedding booking too. 

It looks and sounds like a £100k+ car and for those who don’t know, it is very believable. I know I will regret selling it, but I just need to attend the itch for a Mclaren 12c or a Nissan GTR. I also know I won’t ever find another Yellow Jacket again, at this price.

Please understand this isn’t the same as some of the other Challengers out there, if you know your American stuff, you’ll be aware of this and will know how rare the Yellow Jacket model is, by the same token It isn’t a Hellcat either and that’s why it’s not £50k+. It is a genuine USA import and not from the middle east. I wanted a USA car due to the amount of sand that can find its way into body crevices, radiators and through the air filters which is what I found a common occurence when I was in the market for a muscle car. Granted some examples are spot on from both east and west but I found that the USA cars overall were the cleaner examples with good paint. 

I’m a 37-year-old professional and have cherished this car and will carry on doing so should the sale of the next car fall through. It has never been abused and the mechanical and cosmetic condition as it stands are testament to this. It gets cleaned, waxed and taken pictures of more than driven. I therefore want a hassle-free sale. The reg will be retained and removed once a sale is agreed. 

I do not want to entertain timewasters (if you can find another Yellow Jacket, please do – You won’t)

I have the original items such as the stereo unit, the original shifter, the side marker lights, OEM rear set of light clusters, OEM silver fuel cap and the original spoiler. 

The rear tyres are becoming slightly low but are still legal. I have a full new set of Nexxen Premium tyres that will go with the car. I’ve had the same spec tyres on my 911 4s and they’re a great tyre real world tyre.
