JOSEPH CARL KLINKOSCH (1822-1888)
had been trained by his father Carl, who owned the silver workshop 'Mayerhofer & Klinkosch', which was founded in 1830 by Stephan Mayerhofer and Carl Klinkosch: The silver workshop Mayerhofer & Klinkosch developed into one of the most successful companies in the industry around 1850. A significant turning point took place in 1869 when the son Joseph Carl Klinkosch became the sole owner, whereupon the name of the company was changed: 'Gold-, Silver- and Metalware-Fabrik JC Klinkosch'. But the success remained the same: Like his father, Joseph Carl Klinkosch also received numerous orders from the imperial court in Vienna and its nobility.

MASTER'S MARK 'AP' for goldsmith AUGUST PARTSCH - not on all parts existing
JOSEPH CARL KLINKOSCH (1822-1888) had been taught by his father Carl who had owned the silver manufactory 'Mayerhofer & Klinkosch', having been founded in the year 1830 by Stephan Mayerhofer and Carl Klinkosch: The manufactory Mayerhofer & Klinkosch had been one of the most successfull silver manufactories of the Old Imperial Austria. There was a change in the year 1869 when the son Josef Carl Klinkosch became single owner of manufactory - therefore the company's name was changed into: 'Gold-, Silber- und Metallwaren-Fabrik JC Klinkosch'. The company's success remained the same: Josef Carl Klinkosch worked as a purveyor of the Austrian Emperor as his father had done and received numerous orders from his nobility.
