Description
Beautiful serving dish in unusual style, we have had only 2 or three similar pieces and wonder if it migth be south Chinese.
Visible is a beautiful bird in a rocky and floral landscape scene. The border with geometric design and symbols in compartments. Famille verte or wucai palette.
Chenghua marked at the base.
There is a square dish with similar palette in the Butler collection. Which also has the interesting sand heaping at the base. See pictures.
