Keep warm in this easy-to-wear unisex jacket made from homespun wool!

Most likely from South America (possibly Central America), this is a rare and unique piece of outerwear. It is constructed of a natural (undyed or processed) wool that looks as though it was homespun. This homespun wool was then woven by hand on a loom (all without electricity! and sewn together to create the boxy jacket we see. This jacket features a cropped waist cut, with a collar that can stand up on its own, or be folded down. The center front has hand-carved horn (or other similar material) button closure, and small string ties detail at waist. This is a wonderfully thick yet lightweight jacket for cooler weather. No lining, pockets, or labels present. Overall condition is like new, with some natural anomalies to the yarn, but no signs of wear, or flaws to note. I hand washed and de-pilled this piece.
