This is a really lovely poppy broach by Silver Scenes and comes from their Collectors Guild. It is part of their range of silver, pewter and silver plated items designed and crafted by Maureen Story Jones in Welshpool, Powys. It is an original design inspired by the countryside around the artists home in mid Wales. It has an inscription on the back which I do not know what it means and is clearly visible in photograph 4. It has the weight and appearance of being silver but has no silver hallmark. It is in excellent condition with original box and leaflet.
