It is with sadness that I have to let my 1966 Ford Anglia project go. Ill health and the loss of my workshop has stopped all work on the car and I am very unlikely to start again. Over the years I have bought so many parts that go with the car that I have lost track on everything I have. Below are most of the parts that would go with the shell.

V5 with original regiatration

Ford 1600 Xflow engine. Fully rebuilt but never run. 1300 pistons, bored out plus 90 so around the 1760 cc mark. Vulcan big valve head.  BCF2 cam. Duplex chain. Double valve springs. Fully dry sumped with catch tank. Electronic ignition and distributor. Twin 40 DCOE webber carbs with manifold. GT exhaust manifold four into one. Likely to produce between 130 and 140 BHP.

To go with the engine I have a Ford Type 9 five speed gearbox with brand new clutch and a lightened fly wheel. I also have a brand new steel gearbox tunnel made for the Anglia to allow this gearbox to fit in the Anglia.

New radiator in box.

Refurbished original fuel tank.

Alternator and starter motor.

With the shell come two pairs of fibre glass doors plus the original steel doors.

Two fibre glass bonnets both brand new.

Glass fibre boot brand new.

A pair of glass fibre front wings brand new.

New complete fibre glass front end.

Fibre glass front splitter and rear valance.

Original bumpers plus moulds and fibre glass copies of bumpers.

Full bolt in John Aley roll cage.

Set of five 14 inch slot mag alloy wheels. Plus the 5 original 14 inch Ford Rostyle wheels with tyres and a set of four 15 inch alloys with racing slick tyres.

A set of five Yokohama A539 195/50R15 as I did not know which way to go 15 or 14 inch wheels.

Ford Cortina Mk2 modified front struts. Fully adjustable with Bilston gas struts.

Adjustable Escort TCAs and Adjustable top mounts.

New Escort quick rack and pinion. Escort cross member. Ford Corsair steering arms. Original Steering box and arms.

Ford Capri 2.8 front brake callipers. New vented brake discs.

Original rear Anglia axle with a disc brake conversion kit. original propshaft and rear springs.

Rear adjustable coil over shock absorbers new. I was thinking of a 5 link back axle set up.

Fibre glass Madadash with a full set of Lotus Ford Cortina Mk2 gauges.

MGF steering column with electric power steering, module and keys. With steering wheel.

Ford Sierra steering column, Steering wheel and keys.

All the original fixtures and fittings come with the car. Glass, chrome, door cards, Handles, window winders, wiring loom, original gauges, seats although I also have a set of leather front seats from an MR2. Brand new carpet set.

The list goes on and on. Basically I have bought practically everything that you would need to make this into a bad ass Ford Anglia.

The shell is sitting on a rotating jig which will come with the car. There has been a lot of welding done to the shell. All the sills have been done but the floors need replacing. I have the metal to weld in just not been able to get around to it.

Individually the parts sold separately come to over £13k but as a project I am not looking for that. If you take the whole lot I will let it go for £6000 ono. The engine and gearbox are worth £4000 alone. If I don’t get any reasonable offers for everything in the next ten days then I will break the bits up and sell them separately. You can come view the whole lot but don’t expect to be able to cherry pick the parts you want. It is all or nothing for the time being.

If you want more details please contact me for a chat. If you want to come and have a look please give me time to get all the parts together as they are spread throughout the house, attic, garage and garden shed. You will need a small van and a trailer to take everything away.
