This is a VERY early, MK1 folding knife produced by Barry Wood in Venice, CA.  It was made prior to the time that Barry Wood "hall-marked" his knives on the blade with his identifying "logo" and patent information.  This knife is etched on one of the inside panels with information identifying it as a MK1, and also bears a production number of #773. In my online research I have found only one other knife with similar identification etching.  It is serial # 365 and can be seen on the "WorthPoint" website.

My knife is further etched on another inside panel with the original owner's name...a John Clark in Gold Hill, CA.

The knife has been used and carried.  Itis in VERY GOOD condition and operates correctly.  It does not come with its original tube or papers.
