This is a boxed set of unbranded extension tubes with for use with Nikon manual or auto/manual focus lenses that have MANUAL aperture control - Nikon F and Ai/Ais, and Nikon AF lenses that have a manual aperture ring. They are NOT suitable for AF lenses designated G which have no aperture rings, AF-s lenses (no aperture rings), or AF-p (do not work if they are not connected to the camera electronics). They are used but in good condition apart from very minor scuffs etc.

The set consists of two adapters with Nikon bayonet (one male, the other female) and three tubes that screw in between them. The tubes with bayonets screw together to give 15mm extension, the other tubes are 7, 14 and 28mm giving the following possible lengths: 15mm (adapters), 22mm (adapters + 7mm), 29mm (adapters + 14mm), 36mm (adapters + 7 + 14mm), 43mm (adapters + 28mm), 50mm (adapters + 7 + 28mm), 57mm (adapters + 14 + 28mm), and 64mm (complete set). I've also included a cloth storage bag (not in photos).

I took test pictures using a Nikon D7000 set to ISO 1600 and aperture-priority metering - since I didn't have a suitable lens handy I used a Helios 58mm lens with a Nikon adapter, set to f8 for all pictures. They show a £1 coin, width 27mm, taken without a tube, with each of the tubes individually then all four combined.
No tube (about 18") 1/5000th
15mm (approx  0.25x) 1/1600th
22mm (approx 0.35x) 1/1600th
29mm (approx 0.5x) 1/1250th
43mm (approx 0.7x) 1/1000th
64mm (approx 1.1x) 1/800th
Light loss is common to all extension tubes - basically, you're magnifying part of the image and the rest of the light entering the lens is lost, which means that the higher the magnification, the smaller the proportion of the light entering the lens that reaches the film or sensor. Shutter speed must be reduced, or the aperture opened, to compensate. Since depth of field is greater when a lens is stopped down the usual preference is reduction in shutter speed. Please note that tubes usually work best with prime standard or moderate telephoto lenses, and give poorer results with zooms (unless specifically designed for it) and wide angle lenses.

There's an online magnification calculator here if exact magnification is needed:
