I made one of these for myself and loved it so much I made another one. It’s a Dell 240w adapter for the Alienware gamer laptops. It puts out 19.6v at 12.3a.

I installed an xt60 connector and tested it thoroughly. As long as you keep it at or below 200w on the charger display it will run all day. If it’s overloaded. It will trip the internal protection and shut itself off. Just unplug it and plug it back in to reset it, and it’s ready to go.

As you can see by the photos I’m charging a 2s at 24a (200w) which is more than most people would ever want. And some tracks limit charging current to 13a or less anyway. I would feel confident saying it would also run a dual charger as long as both channels are kept to 10-11 amps.

I love the small form factor. And it has a long enough cord that it can be placed on the floor. And rubber feet is you wish to have it on your pit bench.

If you have ever used a power supply over 12v you will see that they charge much faster at the same amps. They are much more efficient at delivering power.

I also use this to power my 20v soldering iron.
