The eighth volume of this facsimile reprint of the complete works of Erasmus. Published in Latin.

The work of the sixteenth century philosopher and theologian are accompanied with notes in this attractive volume. As well as preparing important new Latin and Greek editions of the New Testament, Erasmus also wrote on free will, superstition, and the moral education of children. The Dutch philosopher is considered one of the greatest scholars of the Northern Renaissance.

CONDITION

In the publisher's original grey cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards and spine, with a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound, with bright and clean pages throughout.
