A beautiful sugar bowl (about 10cm across and 9cm high to top of lid handle) with a lid in good condition. Stylecraft older shape. ‘Wild Geese’ was designed by Sir Peter Scott for Midwinter Pottery in the early 1950s. Beautiful flying goose on the front and charming ‘rear view’ design on the back, all on a smooth cream-coloured ground.

No chips or cracks. Internally very free of crazing but light surface crazing over much of the external body as you’d normally expect to find on a piece of kitchenware of this age - I hope this is shown clearly in the photographs.

Fully backstamped in the earlier Stylecraft shape. A very collectible and desirable piece.

I will be listing my entire collection of this design with many more pieces to come.
