An antique wooden nutcracker dating from the late 1800’s originating from the German Black Forest. Hand carved and really quite a ‘thing’! It’s in beautiful condition with no damage, the screw mechanism works smoothly and easily. The wood has a fabulous patina that is only possible after decades of use. The carving is fabulous …. Characterful! Scary! Humorous!
