An account of Scottish explorer Alexander MacKenzie's east to west travels across the North American continent. Consists of "A General History of the Fur Trade" and "The North West Continent of America." Includes constructed glossaries of several Native American tribes. MacKenzie's voyage predated that of Lewis and Clark by nearly a decade.
