Very Rare ORIGINAL ANTIQUE 1780 - 1790 COLONIAL PERIOD Handmade Tallow Candle

DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all. Extremely rare long tallow candle in perfect condition. Never been used or burned. Came out of an early candle mold. 

You can almost picture an early military officer during the Revolutionary War filling out orders by candle light from one of these. Or an early accountant or lawyer on a tall chair, working away. Or during the evening in an early homestead!!

Great decorative item for use in an early antique candle holder, and looks great in one. 

Can be used or again, a rare, great looking decorative item. Very rare to find them. For one, they were usable, so most were used; and for the ones that survived, many were literally eaten or damaged by small animals or insects.
