  • Beschreibung: Eine äußerst intensive Szene, dargestellt in einer ausdrucksstarken und dynamischen Schwarz-Weiß-Komposition. Zu sehen ist eine dichte Anordnung von Figuren mit fratzenhaften Gesichtern, die von Dämonen, die sie umzingeln, brutal gefoltert werden. Einem wird mit einem Eispickel das Auge ausgestochen, einem anderen pickt ein Vogel in den aufgeschnittenen Schädel, einem dritten werden die Hände abgehackt. Die Darstellung wirkt weniger realistisch als vielmehr grotesk oder wie aus einem Alptraum.

  • Description: An extremely intense scene, depicted in an expressive and dynamic black and white composition. We see a dense arrangement of figures with grimacing faces being brutally tortured by demons surrounding them. One of them has his eye gouged out with an ice pick, another has his skull cut open by a bird and a third has his hands chopped off. The depiction seems less realistic and more grotesque or like something out of a nightmare.
