  • Beschreibung: Das Kunstwerk zeigt eine surrealistische Szene mit zahlreichen kunsthistorischen Bezügen. Vorne links steht ein Ritter in Rüstung mit Lanze, der in seiner Erscheinung an den Heiligen Georg erinnert. Rechts sitzt ein Mann mit Schiebermütze und grünem Malerkittel auf dem Rhinozeros von Albrecht Dürer. Zahlreiche lange, spitze Gegenstände verstellen diagonal den Bildraum. Rechts steht ein spitzer langer Zirkel mit Gesicht und bläst, wie die Engel eines Barockgemäldes in eine Trompete. Eine surreale Gestalt, die an die fantastischen Figuren Brueghels erinnert, wird von einer Lanze durchbohrt. Im Hintergrund türmen sich Bergketten.

  • Description: The artwork depicts a surrealist scene with numerous art historical references. At the front left is a knight in armour with a lance, whose appearance is reminiscent of Saint George. On the right, a man in a green coat sits on Albrecht Dürer's rhinoceros. Numerous long, pointed objects diagonally obstruct the picture space. On the right is a long, pointed compass with a face, blowing a trumpet like the angels in a Baroque painting. A surreal figure, reminiscent of Brueghel's fantastic figures, is pierced by a lance. Mountain ranges tower in the background.
