This is an antique Mettlach 3.25L German Beer Jug entitled “Fishing Couple” by Villeroy and Boch. Ceramic body is PUG (Print Under Glaze) and depicts a young man and woman hand in hand on the front of the stein with a sailboat on one side an a windmill on the other. Pewter thumb lid.
